day 1525

“Come up here …” (Rev. 4:1, NKJV)

We are currently examining the Spirit of wisdom, how it works and what it performs, which is to say that we are excavating the “mysteries of wisdom” (Job 11:6).

The second and third chapters of the book of Revelation offers to the believers “who overcome” the prize (Phil. 4:13) of the third dimension. Chapter 4’s first verse states it thus, following John of Patmos, the virtual guide of this spiritual journey to apokalupsis: “After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, ‘Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.’”

There are many Charismatic and Pentecostal believers who consider this verse as the pivotal moment of the so-called rapture, and that that which is found from chapter 4 verse 2 onwards is a revelation of what will happen during that time. This is alas not the truth. What is in reality happening here is the ascension to the third dimension, that spiritual space in which the Bride of Christ functions. Believers of the second dimension are pertinently warned in Rev. 2:5: “Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent.” As we’ve explained earlier in the teaching, the lampstand gains symbolic meaning when you become born again, and this symbolizes the seven-fold Spirit of God. This is closely linked to your position in the Christ (thus we find the term “remove … from its place”). Remember the great truth of the teaching of Day 1504-1506, namely that the seven-fold Spirit of God IS the Spirit of Christ! If you and I, as part of the Bride who has been called, are not in position, we cannot develop the seven-fold Spirit (that Rev. 3:1 is concerned with) to its full potential. The seven-fold Spirit is offered to the Bride so that we can ascend – like Rev. 4:1 maps out the spiritual door and this spiritual journey.

We are, and are freed from, this broken realm in which we live, to not merely slouch through it in imperfection, but to rather ascend in the Spirit. The seven-fold Spirit of God leads and directs us and makes us able to fulfil His will, and to restore the earth. To still be a part of the Babylonian thoughts and practices that first and second dimension religion forces onto us, causes us to not be able to penetrate the veil that leads to the third dimension of spiritual glory. There is still an opponent WITHIN us which can still bound our thoughts to the imperfect. This demonic thought world, Eph. 2:2-3 explains, brings about a way of thinking “in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind …” This needs to be broken.

  • Selah: Have you entered the door of Rev. 4:1?
  • Read: 1-3
  • Memorise: 3:19 (is this true of you and your world?)
