Day 37

“And you shall raise up the tabernacle according to its pattern which you were shown on the mountain.”                                 (Ex 26:30, NKJ)

One of the core Scriptures regarding the end of time is prophesied in Is 2:2-3: “Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the LORD’s house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it. Many people shall come and say, ‘Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD …’” In the months to come we will regularly come back to this important verse.

In Scripture, mountains are often an indication of a spiritual viewpoint (Ps 36:6), a ‘meeting point’ between the natural realm and the spiritual realm. Hills usually represent false religions and idol worship.

The highest of all the spiritual mountains is Zion. Only there do you find the pattern of the ascended life. In Heb 12:22 it is stated: “But you have come to Mount Zion …”

Just like Moses had to obtain the plan of the tabernacle on the mountain, so too is it of utmost importance that the end-time church knows what God’s ‘higher view’ is (Isa 55:9) This is so not only in terms of the collective tabernacle, but also in terms of your personal tabernacle.

We have already seen in a previous teaching how the unclean spirit makes a claim on the waterless Christian, the one without the Living Water. It is so because Jesus, the fountain of Living Water, is often replaced with other (often water-) spirits that sit in the temple and present themselves as God (2 Thess 2:4). For this reason it states in Ps 74:3: “Lift up thy feet unto the perpetual desolations; even all that the enemy hath done wickedly in the sanctuary.” But the prophetic assurance is given: “You divided the sea by Your strength; You broke the heads of the sea serpents in the waters. You broke the heads of Leviathan in pieces … You broke open the fountain and the flood.” (Ps 74:13-15a). This is a pre-requisite for Joel 3:18 to happen. Begin to understand the place where you need to be to see the pattern of God.

  • Sela: Understand what it means that the Holy Spirit leads you in all truth (John 16:13) and Truth (John 14:6). Truth can only flow on the Way and it gives Life.
  • Read: Gen 37; Ps 37; Matt 8
  • MemorisePs 34:4 &5
  • Going deeper: Read chapter 3 of EW Kenyon’s book The Father and His family to truly understand breaking the “dominion of death”.
